Opening & Closing

Fall 2024 opening at the Student Village will take place Saturday, August 24, 2024.

You MUST meet all requirements listed on our Housing Application page. Your arrival time is:

• 4th Floor Room assignments: 9:00 am – 10:30 am
• 3rd Floor Room assignments: 10:30 am – Noon
• 2nd Floor Room assignments: 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm
• 1st Floor Room assignments: 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm

If you have difficulty meeting your designated time you can request to come from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm, or make specific arrangements for Saturday.

REMINDER: Mandatory Housing Orientation for New/Transfer students on Sunday, August 25, 2024.

Residents are encouraged to leave within 24 hours of their last class/final – classes end Tuesday, December 17, 2024.*

*Those with late classes on the day of the Student Village closing, or a travel delay, may request to stay overnight to the following morning at 10:00 am.

The Student Village will remain open during Thanksgiving and Spring Break – we have not determined if students will be required to notify Housing. Please note that Dining will not be open.

Winter Break

• The Student Village closes Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at 7:00 pm*, and reopens on Saturday, January 25, 2025.
  *Those with late classes on the day of the Student Village closing, or a travel delay, may request to stay overnight to the following morning at 10:00 am.
• Break days would include Wednesday, December 18 through Friday, January 24.

*ALL students must be registered for 12 or more credits (unless approved by Director of Housing & Residential Life)
*ALL students must have satisfied their financial obligation; through financial aid, payment plan or paid in full.
*You CANNOT move in without completing both of the above requirements.

• Saturday, January 25, 2025
  • New Students: 9:00 am – Noon
  • Returning Students: 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
• Sunday, January 26, 2025
  • 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

Residents are encouraged to leave within 24 hours of their last class/final – classes end Monday, May 19, 2025.

The Student Village closes at 10:00 am for non-graduating students on Tuesday, May 20, 2025.

Graduation will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025.

The Student Village closes at 10:00 am for graduating seniors on Friday, May 23, 2025.

Summer Housing is available for students who are taking at least 1 credit during the summer.
The summer terms include Full Term (June 3 – August 9), Term I (June 3 – July 5), and Term II (July 8 – August 9).
