Important Information for Fall 2021:
Per SUNY mandate, all students with an on-campus presence are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and provide documentation of immunization. Students should upload their vaccine info to the following website: www2.sysadm.suny.edu/studentVax/
Proof of being fully vaccinated must be received by 09/27/2021. If the proof is not received by that date, you will be de-registered from your in-person classes and will be responsible for the charges for those classes.
The Johnny Isakson and David P. Roe, M.D. Veterans Health Care and Benefits Improvement Act of 2020 requires educational institutions to make certain disclosures to students using federal military and/or VA educational benefits. To view and print a copy of an estimated personalized cost of attendance you can visit the SUNY Net Price Cost Calculator and select SUNY Broome Community College from the dropdown. Additional financial information can be found at the NCES College Navigator site. Email us your questions at Veterans@sunybroome.edu. Please include your full name and your Broome ID # in your message. You may also call us at +1 (607) 778-5148
The SUNY Financial Aid Plan (FAP) will provide a more in-depth analysis and accurate picture of student cost once the student has filed their FAFSA, completed a SUNY application, and has been accepted by a campus.
SUNY Broome is approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) as a training facility for veterans and other eligible students. The Veterans & Military Affairs Office processes certifications for 75-80 veterans who are attending classes and receiving veteran’s education benefits; referrals for counseling for financial, vocational and academic problems; and important information about resources available to them at the College. This office acts as a direct liaison between SUNY Broome Community College and the Veterans Administration Regional Office in Buffalo regarding payment of benefits.
