Earlier is always recommended for both semesters.
Transfer students who are already in the U.S. in F-1 Status do have flexibility on the admission deadline when permittable; however, early application is still encouraged.
Special note for Health Science Majors:
Students interested in Health Science Majors – the deadline for your materials is March 1 for Fall (August Semester) as Health Science majors such as Nursing and Dental Hygiene are competitive admissions.
We offer admission during the spring (January) and fall (August) semesters. There is no summer admissions, but you can enroll to take summer classes. The deadlines are established for initial (first time) F-1 students; this allows time for our office to process your materials, send out Acceptance packets, receive your $750 deposit, and time to send out your I-20 so that you can set up your appointment at the Consulate. Orientation is mandatory for international students and is normally the week prior to classes starting. It is not optional.
