All foreign transcripts, secondary and post-secondary, are to be evaluated by an accredited evaluation service. Your academic records should include the grades/marks of all subjects as well as the results of any external examinations. Your high school (secondary) should have a completion (graduation) date. Non-English transcripts will need to be translated; most evaluation services will provide translation services for a nominal fee. Send official secondary school (high school) and any post-secondary school records (transcripts).
There are many evaluation services to choose from.
We recommend one of the following:
Span Tran: (offers SUNY Broome applicants a discounted rate)
World Education Services (WES)
Most of our Health Science programs are highly competitive. If you are applying for one of our competitive programs, you will need to have your transcript evaluated as a course-by-course analysis, so that they are reviewed properly. There are prerequisite courses that need to be met prior to enrolling in the competitive programs. The Office of Admissions will be able to discuss the prerequisites with you.
