You can make payments to the Student Accounts Office so that your bill is paid in full before classes begin. Payments can be accepted even before the bill is printed and sent to you.
Prospective Students
We can’t be certain until you register for classes exactly what your bill will be so this is an estimate only. Pre-payment can NOT exceed $4,500 USD. Also, please be aware that if you are denied a visa or do not attend for any other reason, refunds are ONLY made to the student NOT the individual making payment. Use caution when making a decision to pre-pay before being approved for a student visa.
If you make payments and then find that you will not be attending the current semester, funds are fully refundable prior to the start of the semester. Refunds will be sent in US Dollars via postal mail. After the start of the semester tuition is refundable at 75% during week 1, 50% during week 2 and 25% during week 3. Be sure to communicate in writing if your plans change.
AFTER you have received your F-1 visa, you should make arrangements to pre-pay your first semester tuition. Here’s how to pay:

Tuition and Fee Deposit for International Students
International Students are required to pay a $750 deposit, refundable, to hold their place at Broome Community College, This is due each semester prior to registration. Information and further details on payment options are given upon acceptance.
