Whether pursuing your first college degree or returning to update your skills, you can design your future with BIT!

The Business Information Technology Department offers two Associate of Applied Science degree programs. Each of the BIT Department’s degree programs prepares students for immediate employment in a variety of technology based support fields:

  • Business Information Management ( 60 Credit Hour AAS Degree): Prepares you for a range of cutting edge fields that require a solid foundation in both business and information technology.
  • Website Development and Management (60 Credit Hour AAS Degree): Design your future, while honing the skills employers need in our increasingly digital world.

The Business Information Technology Department offers three New York State Certificate programs:

  • Office Technologies (30 Credit Hour Certificate): Focus your skill development in business information technology or start on your path to a degree.
  • Social Media (24 Credit Hour Certificate): Focus your skill development in social media content creation, social media management, and digital media content creation or start on your path to a degree.
  • Website Development and Management (30 Credit Hour Certificate): Focus your skill development on everything from mobile web applications to responsive websites or start on your path to a degree.

The Business Information Technology Department offers 15 credit and non credit Microcredentials. With BIT non-credit and credit Microcredentials, you can grow your stack with the skills you need. Microcredentials are earned in less time than a degree. You can earn them at any stage in your career, seamlessly fitting into a BIT certificate, BIT degree program, or complete them as a stand-alone credential. Upon completion, you’ll receive a digital badge (via Credly), which is a digitized, visual record of your achievements. You can use it in your email signature, resume, professional profile, or social media platforms allowing you to take the next step in your current role, or help find a new career:
