Paul Cartie earned his B.A. in Mathematics and Secondary Education – Mathematics from the Canisius College of Buffalo, NY and his M.S.E.D. in Secondary Education – Mathematics from Binghamton University.
He previously taught high school mathematics for six years and has been a member of the SUNY Broome faculty since 2012, teaching courses ranging from College Algebra to Calculus and Linear Algebra.
Professor Cartie is passionate about infusing technology into his instruction and passing along his energy and excitement around mathematics to his students.
Professor Cartie is currently the President of the SUNY Broome Faculty Association and feels that supporting his colleagues is a very important next step in his career.
