The Biology Department at SUNY Broome Community College is proud to serve students pursuing a wide variety of career paths. Several of our introductory courses jumpstart the plethora of successful Health Science programs SUNY Broome has to offer, giving students in those programs a quality background on which to proceed. The college’s Biology Department, along with the other science departments, also offer a solid foundation for those students who intend to pursue science-related degrees lasting four years and longer. Many such students get their start at SUNY Broome and transfer to pursue careers including pharmacy, medicine, physical therapy, forestry, scientific research, etc. We also offer science options for students pursuing non-science careers as well.
