Abstract: Supports three goal areas intended to drive the direction and vision for Career & Technical Education (CTE) at SUNY Broome: Goal 1 – Improving Student Support Services for CTE Students with Disabilities; Goal 2 – Improving Recruitment, Enrollment and Retention of All CTE Students with an Emphasis on Special Population Categories; and Goal 3 – Improving Programs of Study to Better Align with Industry-Standard Technologies & Equipment in Top Regional Industries. These goals and their associated grant-funded activities, personnel, and equipment purchases were derived from the data, needs, and gaps identified in the institution’s Community Local Needs Assessment, which was a NYSED-required process to receive Perkins funding in the 2022-23 & 2023-2024 grant years.
