Grants Planning: The Sponsored Programs Office (SPO) supports all aspects of grant proposal planning, preparation and submission. Any SUNY Broome faculty or staff who may be interested in pursuing open Requests for Proposals (RFPs) or other funding opportunities should begin the grants planning process by notifying the SPO of their intent to do so.

- SUNY Broome Programs: Professional Development Assistance Program, Teaching Grants, and Sunshine Fund.
- The Grants.gov system houses information on over 1,000 grant programs and vets grant applications for federal grant-making agencies.
- Find New York State grant opportunities using the Grant Opportunity Portal , the new online grants management section of the Statewide Financial System. Anyone can access the Grant Opportunity Portal. A username and password are not necessary to view anticipated and available grant opportunities.
- Philanthropy News Digest is a service of the Foundation Center that publishes RFPs and notices of awards as a free service for grant-making organizations and nonprofits.
Grants Management: On average, the SPO provides budgetary, reporting, and compliance oversight for more than 100 active grant-funded projects totaling approximately $10 million in funding.
