Cost of Attendance for International Students
2019-2020
The following is an estimate of expenses for an international student to attend SUNY Broome Community College as a full-time student for one academic year (two semesters), not including optional summer term:

Total | $24,000 USD |
* Expenses for on-campus housing would be $11,302, making the total $25,510.
International Students must show this amount in sponsorship or personal/family savings in order to issue the SEVIS I-20 required to apply for F-1 student visa/status. International Students are NOT eligible for Financial Aid.

Health Science students should be aware that there may be additional costs each year above and beyond the estimated costs above for major related costs such as medical clothing, instruments, etc. These costs will vary from program to program within the Health Science majors and may range from $250 to $2,400. (These are estimates only. Your program will provide you with current costs associated with your program when admitted into the program.)
Special Note – Dependents
If you will be bringing a spouse/child(ren) with you as Dependents (F-2 Status), you will be required to provide an additional $3,000 USD per dependent in sponsorship proof AND submit a Dependent Information Form (pdf).
Tuition and Fee Deposit for International Students
International Students are required to pay a $750 deposit, refundable, to hold their place at SUNY Broome Community College, This is due each semester prior to registration.
