The SUNY Broome Dental Hygiene Program is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation and has been granted the accreditation status of “Approval Without Reporting Requirements.”
Approval (without reporting requirements) is an accreditation classification granted to an educational program indicting that the program achieves or exceeds the basic requirements for accreditation.

NC-SARA
NC-SARA is a set of agreements between member states, districts, and territories that establishes comparable national standards for interstate distance education program offerings. As a participating member of NC-SARA, SUNY Broome adheres to NC-SARA regulations to protect the integrity of its distance education program and to ensure consumers are protected.
