Kennie Leet has a broad background in meteorology, environmental science, and geology.
Leet’s current research interests include climate change during the time of hominin evolution, paleoenvironmental information in chert deposits, modern siliceous sediments, and spring environments.
Leet’s teaching interests include Oceanography, Natural Disasters, Environmental Field Methods, and Atmospheric Science.
Leet is also heavily involved in undergraduate research in the Environmental Science Senior Seminar and encourages students to present original scientific work at SUNY and regional Geological Society conferences.
