Keith Hughes is an Adjunct Instructor in the Engineering and Physics Department at SUNY Broome. Keith completed his Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) at Binghamton University in 2023 and his undergraduate studies at Cornell University and SUNY Broome in Biological Sciences and Engineering, respectively. Since 2016, he has been actively involved in tutoring and teaching classes at SUNY Broome, where he imparts his extensive knowledge and practical insights to students.
Keith is not only an educator but also a practicing pharmacist. He brings a wealth of real-world experience to his teaching, allowing students to bridge the gap between theory and practical application. His expertise in pharmaceuticals and commitment to patient care make him a trusted healthcare provider in the community.
His area of research interest includes identifying new compounds or molecules with therapeutic potential in oncology, optimizing drug formulations, and conducting preclinical and clinical trials. Also, Keith has an interest in investigating the regulatory pathways and requirements for drug approval, ensuring compliance with government agencies like the FDA or EMA.
