Join SUNY Broome and Alliance for Manufacturing & Technology on September 17 to explore how industry and academia can collaborate for economic growth and workforce development—network with peers, tour state-of-the-art facilities, gain insights through focused breakout sessions, and enjoy light refreshments.
The future of economic growth supported by a strong workforce results from collaborative work between industry and academic leaders.
Goals & Objectives
- To develop a beneficial partnership between local manufacturer’s and SUNY Broome.
- To ensure that there are processes in place to support the development of programs and courses
that meet industry needs. - To solidify partnerships by garnering industry specific feedback for credit and non-credit programs.
- To support businesses through access to student interns, corporate contract training opportunities, and apprenticeship training to meet industry needs.
